Bringe home the biggest trophy in its third year of operation
Microsoft Partner of the Year is awarded partners that have delivered significant contributions in the Norwegian market recent year. The award is usually given to the biggest partners in each market, and the news was met with huge excitement at Devoteam Norway.
– I am lost for words. I had a dream that we might be able to win this in 2025, or in best case next year. That we already now are recognized as partner of the year in Norway was a huge surprise. It’s the most important award for us to win, and the announcement was welcomed with loud cheers from the Norwegian team, and from our Microsoft team across Europe, says CCO in Devoteam Norway, Randulf Grotle.
Will surprise the local industry
According to Microsoft, The Partner of the Year award highlights truly exceptional work in delivering solutions and services built on Microsoft platforms that positively impact mutual customers across the globe.
– We are pleased to announce that Devoteam is our Partner of the Year in Norway. The award is given based on their extensive knowledge across our solution areas, our close collaboration, and the impressive growth of Devoteam in Norway. We look forward to a continued great relationship in the years to come, says Kristine Dahl Steidel, Country Manager i Microsoft Norge.
Grotle expects that the local industry will be somewhat surprised when the news is made public.
– The challenger prevails! We see this as proof point that we have succeeded in building an outstanding team of professionals that are best in Norway with what we do. We have gone all-in on being experts on Microsoft Azure and have never regretted that strategy, says Grotle.
Big legacy thrives in the cloud
Devoteam Norway has a team of close to 100 Microsoft professionals and the highest certifications across all key solution areas. The local company was founded just 3,5 years ago when former Microsoft employees decided to venture with a highly specialized partner on Microsoft Azure.
– There was a window of opportunity for a partner that could support large Norwegian companies in becoming more successful in using all the features and functions in Microsoft Azure in their digital transformation. There are vast opportunities to spark innovation through standardization and automation. Therefore, our plan was to create a specialized consultancy that helped large corporations modernize legacy applications, ensuring them a better future in the cloud, says Grotle.
Devoteam has succeeded in attracting many of the most skilled Microsoft experts in Norway.
– We are thrilled that we have recruited an outstanding team where the best resources stand shoulder to shoulder every day. That is also the key reason why we have delivered well. This award will have a big impact on our brand awareness in the Norwegian market. It will give us a better competitive edge and position us to take on all kinds of projects connected to modernizing infrastructure, says Grotle.
